Keep Kids Alive Drive 25™ is a safety campaign designed to encourage motorists to observe the residential speed limit. In Hastings, as in most cities across the U.S., the residential speed limit is 25-mph. The goal is simply to remind each of us to check our speed and slow down as needed. In short, Keep Kids Alive Drive 25™ is an invitation to take personal responsibility for our driving behavior.

Several components of Keep Kids Alive Drive 25™ are in our community. The yard signs are available at Big 'G' Hardware at N Hwy 281 & 33rd Street.  The cost of a yard sign is $10.00 plus tax.  Several metal signs with the Keep Kids Alive Drive 25™ have been posted in town.  We also have two portable metal signs which are moved throughout the community.
