Administrative Services provides the support the Operations Division needs to operate. There are a number of functions within Administrative Services.
In addition to overseeing these areas, Captain Boner is responsible for the development and management of budgets and grants, inspection and maintenance of the facility and vehicles, documenting and developing training, developing and maintaining a comprehensive computer system, compiling and publishing statistics, and procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
The Operations Division consists of the primary and most visible operations of the Hastings Police Department: Patrol Operations and the Detective Bureau.
In addition to supervising the above operations, Captain Story is responsible for managing and assigning overtime, special assignments and special details, developing operations plans, coordinating equipment and training needs, assigning and managing criminal cases, and coordinating equipment and training needs with the Administrative Services Captain.
