CODE RED Reverse Notification Systems Now In Adams County
Adams County and the City of Hastings now has a high speed notification system.
You can get severe weather warnings sent directly to your home phone and cell
phone. It will only call when your home address is in the Polygon warning sent
out by the National Weather Service. We feel it is very important to have more
than one way of getting Emergency messages in addition to a NOAA weather radio
will help you and your family to be prepared.
Remember outdoor warning sirens are just that, they are not made to warn people
that are inside.
15 Counties in Central Nebraska worked together to launch this Public Safety
asset. Since this product is County resident specific, be sure that you sign up
in the county in which you live.
Please take a moment to review your contact information. Once entered, you will
receive geographically relevant communications. Examples include: evacuation
notices, bio-terrorism alerts, boil water notices, and missing child reports.
